Client & Account Management
Client relationships are led by Mike Cook, Owner and Managing Director, who provides strategic oversight and ensures every client receives the highest level of service and accountability.
Supporting him is Carey, our Key Account Manager, who plays a central role in coordinating client projects, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring work progresses smoothly from first enquiry through to completion.
Patrick, our Business Development Manager, works closely with new and existing clients to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and ensure businesses across the region have access to high-quality signage support when they need it.
Together, this team ensures clients experience responsive service, clear communication, and dependable delivery.
Production & Installation Team
Our production team is led by Terry, our Production Manager, who oversees scheduling, fabrication, and installation coordination to ensure every project is delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.
Supporting Terry is a skilled and experienced team including Amber, our designer, who transforms concepts into precise, production-ready artwork, and our signwriting and installation specialists Charlie, Grant, and Liam, who bring projects to life through expert fabrication, finishing, and installation.
With strong in-house manufacturing capability and attention to detail at every stage, the team ensures every sign leaving our workshop reflects the quality and professionalism Speedy Signs Rotorua is known for.

Liam is part of the production and installation team at Speedy Signs Rotorua, supporting fabrication, preparation, and onsite installation. He brings a strong eye for detail and craftsmanship, developed through his hand-crafted furniture business, The Fat Beagle, where precision and finish quality are essential. His practical skills and careful approach contribute to the consistent quality of our signage, both in the workshop and during installation. Liam is also preparing to undertake a formal signmaking apprenticeship, reflecting his commitment to developing his skills and supporting the future of the signage industry. His growth within the team strengthens our long-term capability and reinforces our commitment to maintaining professional signmaking standards.
Mike is the Owner and Managing Director of Speedy Signs Rotorua. With extensive experience across signage fabrication, project management, and business leadership, he oversees strategic direction and ensures every project meets the company’s high standards for quality and reliability. Mike remains closely involved in client relationships and complex projects, bringing practical insight and hands-on problem solving to deliver dependable signage solutions.
Patrick works closely with businesses and organisations across the region to understand their signage needs and develop effective, practical solutions. With a strong focus on building long-term relationships, he helps clients plan signage that supports their brand, improves visibility, and delivers lasting value. His proactive approach ensures clients always have a trusted point of contact.
Carey is the Customer Account Specialist at Speedy Signs Rotorua and plays a central role in ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. Known for her organisation, responsiveness, and attention to detail, she coordinates client communication, approvals, and scheduling to ensure expectations are met and exceeded. Carey is committed to providing clients with clear, reliable support throughout every stage of their signage projects.
Amber is responsible for transforming ideas into clear, precise artwork ready for production. With a strong eye for layout, detail, and brand consistency, she ensures every sign not only looks great but is technically correct for manufacture. Her work plays a key role in ensuring a seamless transition from concept to finished product.
Terry is the Production Manager at Speedy Signs Rotorua and brings significant industry experience in signmaking, fabrication, and large-scale installation management. He holds a New Zealand Certificate in Signmaking and has managed major commercial signage projects, including high-profile installations such as the 16-metre Waitomo fuel pylon and complex banner and structural signage systems. With a strong background in installation planning and execution, Terry oversees production workflow, scheduling, and installation coordination to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high professional standard. His technical expertise and leadership strengthen Speedy Signs Rotorua’s capability to deliver complex signage solutions with confidence.
Grant is a key member of the production and installation team, recognised for his problem-solving ability, technical capability, and dependable work ethic. He contributes across fabrication, finishing, and installation, consistently applying a practical, solutions-focused approach. Grant’s attention to detail and commitment to quality help ensure every project is delivered efficiently and to the high standard Speedy Signs Rotorua is known for.
Charlie is a trained and very experienced signwriter Charlie is an experienced signwriter and installer who brings craftsmanship and attention to detail to every project. From fabrication and finishing through to installation, he ensures signage is completed to a high standard and performs reliably in the field. His practical experience and pride in his work contribute significantly to the quality of the finished product.
Kodie's transition from sales to design in 2024 has been a huge success. With her friendly, enthusiastic nature coupled with stacks of creative flair, she has thrived in the design role constantly producing amazing artwork. Kodie's ability to transition between sales and design makes her an invaluable asset to the team.
Adrian, our production manager, is the glue that holds our team together. Adrian ensures every job under his management is completed to the highest standards with his commitment to excellence and warm, approachable demeanour. His dedication to his work and team shines through as he supports and empowers his colleagues, fostering a positive work environment. Making him not just a manager, but a true leader within our organisation.
Barry’s our OG sign guy, known for his sharp eye and knack for sign graphics. Barry has a wealth of experience and expertise. He’s our go-to for those jobs that require extra flair, like the many amazingly crafted vehicle wraps you’ll see around town. Barry is all about quality and perfection. Not surprisingly Barry is experienced in old-school sign writing - painting signs by hand. This lost art is highly prized and makes up just part of the experience that Barry brings to the team.
