Jeff has owned and operated Speedy Signs Takapuna for over 20 years. During that time, his background in sales and marketing has helped the business grow from strength to strength. Jeff’s main focus has always been working closely with customers and developing strong, long-lasting relationships. Jeff enjoys getting to know his customers, understanding their needs, and helping their businesses grow through effective signage solutions. He takes pride in providing high-quality, personalised service on every project, and one of the most rewarding parts of his role is seeing the team’s work displayed throughout the local community. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending time on his three-acre lifestyle block, fulfilling a lifelong dream. When time allows, he also enjoys a relaxing game of golf.
With over eight years of sales experience and a strong background in the signage industry, Mark understands what works in the real world—not just on paper. His practical knowledge helps keep projects efficient, achievable, and on track. Mark spends his days speaking with clients to understand their vision, advising on options, measuring everything carefully—usually twice—and turning their ideas into clear, accurate quotations. His goal is simple: to make every signage project run smoothly from start to finish while exceeding the customer’s expectations. Outside of work, Mark enjoys life at a fast pace and can often be found riding motocross with his family.
Wynton has worked in the signage industry for over 17 years. With a lifelong passion for art and creativity, a career in signage was a natural fit and has allowed him to combine his artistic interests with practical, hands-on experience. Over the years, Wynton has gained invaluable knowledge across a wide range of roles, including graphic design, production, and account management. This broad experience gives him a strong understanding of every stage of a signage project, from the initial idea and design through to production and installation. He enjoys helping customers bring their ideas to life and takes pride in delivering practical, creative solutions. Outside of work, Wynton enjoys spending time with his young family. He is also a keen fisherman and cook, and enjoys graphic design projects and tackling a bit of DIY around the house.
Paul began his signwriting career 47 years ago, starting an apprenticeship straight from school after showing a natural creative flair and a love of drawing. An interesting fact about Paul is that he is one of the few traditional brush signwriters still working in the industry today—a skill that reflects both his craftsmanship and decades of experience. Paul’s role covers all aspects of signage production and installation. He takes great pride in seeing each project come together and enjoys sending the rest of the team photos of the finished work once it has been installed on site. Outside of work, Paul enjoys cooking, entertaining, working around his home and garden, and following a wide range of sports. He is always keeping busy!
Neive is the youngest member of our team and joined the signage industry four years ago. Over the past year, she has begun her signwriting apprenticeship and is working towards becoming fully qualified. As part of her training, Neive is gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of sign production and installation. She is a capable and enthusiastic apprentice and is responsible for operating our CNC and laser-cutting machines. Neive also plays an important role in packaging and dispatching our finished products. Creative both at work and at home, Neive often has several craft projects underway. She is also an avid reader and still manages to fit a little ice skating into her week. Neive is a fun and valued member of the team, and we love the energy, humour, and sass she brings to the workplace.
Mike brings more than 40 years of experience in the signage industry to his role as our valued designer and printer. His primary responsibility is designing and printing our signage before it moves through to the production team, ensuring every project starts with a clear, accurate, and high-quality design. Mike works closely with the Sales Team to transform the customer's ideas into practical and visually effective signage. Using supplied artwork, brand guidelines, and colour profiles, he carefully prepares each design to ensure it reflects the customer’s vision while also meeting the practical requirements of production and installation. His extensive industry knowledge and attention to detail make him an important part of every project. Away from his computer, Mike is a keen classic-car enthusiast and enjoys following Formula 1 motor racing.
Jo is one of the newest members of the Speedy Signs Takapuna team and brings with her extensive experience in customer service, administration, and bookkeeping. As the organisational backbone of the business, she plays a vital role in keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly through excellent client communication, attention to detail, and exceptional organisational skills. Her role is incredibly varied and includes managing phone and email enquiries, overseeing accounts, maintaining our website and social media channels, and coordinating communication across the team to ensure everyone stays informed and projects run seamlessly. Outside of work, Jo loves tackling creative craft projects, getting lost in a good historical fiction novel, and spending time in her garden creating a beautiful outdoor space.
