Mike Cook
Owner & Managing Director

Mike is the Owner and Managing Director of Speedy Signs Rotorua. With extensive experience across signage fabrication, project management, and business leadership, he oversees strategic direction and ensures every project meets the company’s high standards for quality and reliability. Mike remains closely involved in client relationships and complex projects, bringing practical insight and hands-on problem solving to deliver dependable signage solutions.



Patrick May
Business Development Manager

Patrick works closely with businesses and organisations across the region to understand their signage needs and develop effective, practical solutions. With a strong focus on building long-term relationships, he helps clients plan signage that supports their brand, improves visibility, and delivers lasting value. His proactive approach ensures clients always have a trusted point of contact.



Carey Cockery
Customer Account Specialist

Carey is the Customer Account Specialist at Speedy Signs Rotorua and plays a central role in ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. Known for her organisation, responsiveness, and attention to detail, she coordinates client communication, approvals, and scheduling to ensure expectations are met and exceeded. Carey is committed to providing clients with clear, reliable support throughout every stage of their signage projects.



Amber Logan

Amber is responsible for transforming ideas into clear, precise artwork ready for production. With a strong eye for layout, detail, and brand consistency, she ensures every sign not only looks great but is technically correct for manufacture. Her work plays a key role in ensuring a seamless transition from concept to finished product.



Terry Smith
Production Manager

Terry is the Production Manager at Speedy Signs Rotorua and brings significant industry experience in signmaking, fabrication, and large-scale installation management. He holds a New Zealand Certificate in Signmaking and has managed major commercial signage projects, including high-profile installations such as the 16-metre Waitomo fuel pylon and complex banner and structural signage systems. With a strong background in installation planning and execution, Terry oversees production workflow, scheduling, and installation coordination to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high professional standard. His technical expertise and leadership strengthen Speedy Signs Rotorua’s capability to deliver complex signage solutions with confidence.

Charlie Smith
Senior Signwriter

Charlie is a trained and very experienced signwriter Charlie is an experienced signwriter and installer who brings craftsmanship and attention to detail to every project. From fabrication and finishing through to installation, he ensures signage is completed to a high standard and performs reliably in the field. His practical experience and pride in his work contribute significantly to the quality of the finished product.



Liam MacGregor
Production, Fabricator, Installer, JOAT

Liam has come a long way in a short time and is now the heartbeat of our production and install team. His fast progression is a result of his super personable and courteous nature, his quick learning, positive attitude, and ability to apply himself in all circumstances. Liam brings a strong eye for detail and craftsmanship, developed through his hand-crafted furniture business, The Fat Beagle, where precision and finish quality are essential. Outside of work, Liam is actively involved in Rotorua’s theatre community, where he regularly lends a hand behind the scenes alongside his wife, who is also a keen participant. He also enjoys the outdoors and has a strong interest in health, fitness, and staying active.
